Swimming in repair bills?

Over time, your backyard swimming pool becomes more work and less fun in addition to what seems like endless maintenance and repair bills.

As a local demolition/excavation company, we recognize your needs and have focused our services on providing a high quality service to get you out of your pool permanently. With specialized pool removal equipment and procedures to give clients individualized service, as each project is unique, we hope to help you regain your yard and your weekends.

As you read through the next couple paragraphs, you will see our focus is on full pool removal. We will go over the cost to fill in a pool and what actually goes into the process of filling in a pool. Full pool removal is more expensive but the best value for your money. The increased cost to remove a pool this way will increase your property value at time of sale, give you added peace of mind and rid yourself of future headaches dealing with settlement, drainage issues and the consequences that arise during the next real estate transaction. The alternative to full pool removal is what is often called "partial pool removal" or "abandonment in place" which is when the byproduct of the demolition remains on site and is buried as part of the fill contents. This may be cheaper up front but will be much more costly as you will find out.

For each service call, there can be a variety of complexities that arise and we will plan a time to come out and do a site visit for every job. There is no way to understand all the conditions of each job and what the project will really entail unless we put eyes on the jobs. Pictures and satellite images don't ever tell the whole story. During each site visit, we will go over all the details of the project and be sure each question is answered. While this will hopefully be the first and last time you every have a swimming pool removal project, this is what we do and we have the experience from many pool removal projects to help guide you along the way.

We are happy to walk you through all the details and work together with each client to resolve any concerns and tailor each project to the specific needs required. We match the right size equipment for each job and have highly trained operators to insure safety while filling in a pool.

Since the cost to fill in a pool is likely higher than most people would like to spend, it is important to know what goes into a pool removal project and understand how and what all is done. Filling in a pool is not easy and is definitely not recommended for beginners lacking in machine operator experience or  DIY'ers.

Why does experience matter?

The demolition and filling in a pool process is not rocket science. Compaction of dirt is not brain surgery. This is not as complicated as some imagine it to be. This is where it can get tricky though. With a wide range of internet techniques describing drilling holes or other nonsense, the process of swimming pool removal can be made much more complicated by following the wrong advice.

Removing a swimming pool correctly will give you a headache-free, new way to enjoy your regained space for your remining year in your home. The cost to fill in a pool can be viewed more as an investment. If you are selling or recently bought a home with a pool, you will not want the dangerous structure to be continuing to be a burden or liability in your yard.

You will hear the term full pool removal and partial pool removal a lot in your searching for costs related to filling in your inground pool. We often stress the importance of understanding all that goes into a swimming pool removal project. The most important feature of any of these projects is that your can sleep knowing that the job was done correctly and you won't be dealing with future drainage or settlement issues.

99% of the time, full pool removal is the best option and anyone who says otherwise is not looking out for your best interests.

Why is burying all that concrete an issue? Would you want the remnants of an old pool in your yard if you were just about to purchase a home? Would you want the limitations of having an entire area on your property unusable for any future development of building? Did I mention the added risks of drainage issues lurking under all the buried concrete and gravel.

There is much more to saving a few bucks or making the project easy for the guy trying to keep a project limited to a couple days.

There are a few different options ultimately and we give each job the personalized service to get the homeowner matched up with a suitable plan for both budget and intended use of the space.

As a demolition/excavation company with over 20 years experience, we are often called out to remedy sinking yards, re-doing improperly filled swimming pools for removal of hidden/buried pool related debris that were covered up by inexpensive "low cost" or "gimmick" contractors.

We are dedicated to providing the best pool removal service for our customers.

When using an excavation company for swimming pool demolition and removal, you can sit back and know that your project is getting handled by experienced professionals. This is what we do and we do it right or we don't do it. Filling in a pool can be challenging, especially when dealing with adverse working conditions, extremely tight working spaces and a variety of other complications that can make the cost to fill in a pool vary.

There are a lot of issues that can come up with trying to get this sort of work done by anyone inexperienced in the wide ranging varieties of fill dirt, compaction in lifts, grading, drainage, stabilization, etc.

How much does it cost to remove my pool?

Unfortunately, there is no "one size fits all" magic equation to determine the cost to fill in a pool because each pool removal project and yard are so different. The end use of the space is our priority as the filling in a pool part is usually the easy part. Figuring out what 'you' want to do with the newly recaptured space is where we can make the pool removal process more fun.

Prices for gunite or shotcrete (concrete) pools will likely begin around $10,000 while vinyl liner pools are cheaper. There are many different directions that can adjust the price up and down. Are you planning to fully remove your swimming pool in order to open up long term use of the space? Are you looking for the most economical option and are ok with pool abandonment? Every yard is different and every pool that was once a dream when it was new may currently be your nightmare. By onsite review of your yard and working conditions, we come up with the best plan for your project. Once there is a plan in place, we price the pool removal project according to what is best for each individual client.

Hiring inexperienced gimmick pool removal companies who do not specialize in the structural demolition and dirt compaction aspects of a pool demolition project could be much more costly in the future due to unwanted settlement and drainage issues that arise.

We specialize in full pool removal using the resources and experience of an excavation contractor. We have all the specialized equipment to get the job done.

-AND NO HIDDEN FEES-

Don't worry, it is not as expensive as it sounds and we offer financing as well as take Visa/Mastercard/American Express & Discover.
